About Andrew

Andrew Perez (he/him) is a Catholic speaker, retreat leader, counselor, and ministry professional with over a decade of experience serving parishes, schools, and communities through faith formation, pastoral accompaniment, and mental health support. He holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and is a California Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist/Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. He currently serves as a Community Outreach Advocate for the Catholic Therapy Center and is pursuing certification in spiritual direction.

Andrew has served as a youth minister, missionary, teacher, campus minister, coach, and school counselor. In each role, he has remained committed to accompanying others with compassion and a Christ-centered approach to healing, growth, and formation. In 2015, he received the Christian Service Award from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and in 2025, he was nominated for the NFCYM Saint John Bosco Accompaniment Award in recognition of his mentorship-centered approach to ministry and leadership formation.

He has led retreats, workshops, conferences, mission experiences, prayer services, and large-scale formation events for parishes, schools, and communities. His work includes leadership development, public speaking, counseling support, ministry operations, and building programs that help people grow in faith, belonging, and emotional wellbeing.
