Mental Health Advocacy
Where faith, formation, and mental health meet.
Mental health advocacy through Anchored Catholic is rooted in compassion, clarity, and a deep respect for the dignity of each person. This work exists to help individuals, families, schools, parishes, and communities better understand mental health, respond with greater care, and grow in awareness, support, and hope.
In many Catholic spaces, people are carrying anxiety, burnout, grief, family stress, loneliness, trauma, pressure, or emotional pain without always knowing where to turn. Sometimes they need language for what they are experiencing. Sometimes they need practical tools. Sometimes they need a community that is willing to understand rather than judge.
Andrew Perez, AMFT & APCC, currently serves as a Community Outreach Advocate with The Catholic Therapy Center, where he helps lead and offer workshops in support of mental health and community outreach.
