Family Counseling

This is a space for reflection, support, and growth, where family dynamics, relationships, and challenges can be explored with care, honesty, and clarity.

What to Expect

Family counseling is a space to slow down, better understand one another, and work through the patterns, tensions, and challenges that may be affecting the home and family system. My goal is to provide a supportive and grounded environment where each person is treated with dignity and respect, and where families can begin moving toward greater understanding, healthier communication, and stronger relationships.

Therapy sessions typically range from $140 to $175 per session, with the exact fee discussed and agreed upon during the consultation. Depending on your insurance plan, some therapy costs may be eligible for reimbursement.

My Approach

My approach to family counseling is relational, supportive, and growth-oriented. I draw from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strengths-based work, and Bowenian Family Systems Therapy to help families better understand the patterns, emotions, and dynamics shaping their relationships. I want the process to feel both supportive and purposeful.

I believe good family counseling includes both accompaniment and movement. I strive to offer steady support while also helping families identify patterns, improve communication, work through conflict, and move toward healthier connection. At times, this may involve unpacking a specific situation, making sense of a recurring family dynamic, or addressing deeper patterns that continue to affect trust, peace, and stability in the home.

I am especially passionate about supporting intercultural and first-generation families, and helping different generations come to a greater understanding of one another. My hope is to help create greater harmony in the household while making sure each family member feels heard, respected, and valued.

Areas of Support

Family counseling can be helpful for communication challenges, parent-child conflict, cultural and generational differences, emotional distance, recurring tension in the home, life transitions, family stress, and strengthening family relationships overall. It can also be a space to better understand one another, build healthier patterns, and work toward greater peace and stability in the household.

Faith Integration

Faith can be part of the counseling process in a way that feels natural and client-led. For some families, that may include prayer before or after a session. For others, it may simply mean working with a therapist who has a Catholic background. Families are also welcome to explore how faith connects to their relationships, values, struggles, and growth. Faith is incorporated only to the extent the family desires and in a way that feels natural, respectful, and supportive.
